Jeanne Dininni on Writer’s Notes had the idea of thanking the people who had commented on her blog, and giving some link love. This seems like a great idea, so I’ve pinched it. Great idea. I’ve installed a WordPress plugin that does something similar, top commentators get a link in my sidebar with it.

Thanks so much for the credit–and the link! I wish I COULD claim credit for the idea, but I didn’t actually originate it. So I want to give credit where credit is due! This is a fantastic idea! I think I’ll add a day each month to give a little link love to my comment-leavers as well. Perhaps it will encourage more readers to comment.

When I saw Jeanne’s post, I certainly thought about visiting her blog more often. In fact, I subscribed to the feed. I’ve noticed a couple of other people doing something similar with the plugin that Terry mentioned.
