I use Notepad++ for all my non-formatted writing.  As an added bonus it has an FTP thing built into it so that you can literally open a file from your website (thru transparent FTP) make changes and then when you hit the save button it updates the file on the remote server.  My only complaint is that it has a character counter, but not a word count.  I can&#039;t get the plugin to work.  If Jarte can do the ftp thing, we may have a winner  :)</description>
