I know very few freelance writers who really plan for the future in any significant way. Considering that it's up to us to make sure that we ultimately have a retirement plan that will support us, it's really important to start thinking "big picture" as early as possible. So my plan is two-fold - to take the money I am earning now and invest it, and figure out ways to get passive income.
