I literally feel like I'd wilt and turn gray if I stopped writing. A lot of writers don't realize what effort it takes to have a writer's life though. Like you said, there's a lot more involved than just writing. I think a lot of folks envision a nice, quiet cottage by the sea where they're in their pajamas writing novels.
