If you hail from England, as I do, then it can be hard to get a handle on what Thanksgiving means to Americans, much less to write a suitable post about it.
According to my sister, who lives in and loves Manhattan, Thanksgiving is bigger than Christmas, so I get that it’s a big deal. I also understand the concept of being thankful and grateful for life’s blessings, something I try to live in my daily life. Writing a post about it that matches my blog’s content – now that’s a different matter.
That’s why I’m glad that Jeanne Dininni has written The Modern Writer’s List of Thanksgiving Blessings. There’s certainly a lot for writers to be thankful for, so give it a read. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Sharon,
Thanks for plugging my Thanksgiving post–and for the link to Writer’s Notes! I appreciate both!
No matter where we live, we can all understand the concept of being grateful for our blessings, and that’s something we can do every day; so let me just wish you and all your readers a happy giving-of-thanks day! (And for those in the U.S., Happy Thanksgiving!)
Jeanne
Thanks, Jeanne – and it’s a great post.
