		<description>VERY good advice!

I&#039;ve only outsourced a few articles and have had a mixture of good and bad experiences with doing so. I think more freelancers would outsource their overflow if they were confident in trusting writers to get the job done well and in a timely manner. Your tips should definitely help them develop the confidence to hire someone suitable for their needs.

Have stumbled and tweeted this post...thanks!

		<description>Thanks Michele :)

Thanks, George. Yes, it&#039;s a VERY good idea to remember, when &quot;socialising&quot; online, potential employers may well be reading what you&#039;re writing and judging you based upon your last Twitter update or an old rant about a client or editor on your FB page!

		<description>Dana,

An absolute must read for anyone considering the outsource thing. It is so critically important to do the homework beforehand. Some folks are able to put forth a shiny facade and may even have a few worthy examples of writing to present. The you look up their twitter account or facebook page and you have to scratch your head, wondering if it is the same person at all.

Exactly why reputation is important.

George

<description>Dana, this is an excellent post, which mirrors the path I have taken with working with other writers. My writing team these days is quite tiny, but it&#039;s much easier to manage the work - and the relationships. I&#039;ve passed on quite a few leads because it was easier for the writer and client to communicate directly.</description>
