  1. Great tips. I think I might steal some of these resolutions!

Look forward to an update in 3-4 months time to hear how you are doing. :-)

  2. These are all great goals, Dana, and ones that I need to take on as well. Particularly working smarter and more efficiently. Good luck to you! I look forward to following your progress. Let’s check in throughout 2010.

  3. Good for you, Dana. These are wonderful.

I’m hoping that for 2010, I finally take the time to sit down and write/stick to some goals. (I’m goal resistant)

I’m going to join you in 1, 4, 6 and 8. Maybe we can hold each other accountable. Happy New Year!

  5. “When it’s 5:pm and I have only earned $44 but have been at the computer all day I know I’m doing something wrong.”

Glad to hear that’s not just me! This has got to be the one I need to work on the most!

Think it is time for me and hubby to sit down and talk about our goals.

  6. Great set of goals. As for theses two:

“9. Manage my time better. When it’s 5:pm and I have only earned $44 but have been at the computer all day I know I’m doing something wrong. Being more conscious of time suckers will result in fewer nights at the computer until (and past) midnight. I’ve gotten away from setting a schedule and need to do more of that.

    10. Start taking most weekends off. I generally work almost every day. One of my goals for being self-employed was to have more time for my family so in the next year, I’m hoping that my marketing and passive income efforts, along with some personal goals will allow me to do that.”

I couldn’t agree more. It is so easy when one is self employed (particularly when it is online) to get a bit obsessive. Lines start blurring, and you can be “working” constantly. Getting sucked into low yield activities online, resulting in low results financially. Answer is better time management – dare I say it!

    All the best.

  7. I can identify with most of your resolutions, exercising, eating in front of the computer, spending more hours working etc.
